There is something very creepy about a baby with a beard...and I think the coloring on the nose and ears is a little to "painterly" for you. Did you sub-contract those parts out?
Too cute! Though he looks like he'd have me cutting 60 foot stone into likenesses of himself while a whip master stands over me telling me to work faster. I've changed my mind. I don't like him after all.
You have a rare gift my friend. Really excellent work.
Great to have you back! I was a little nervous you weren't gonna get something in this week, I should've known better. This is awesome, I love little pharoah. Great character and cool as always! I love the baby pharoah goatee!
See, Shane is very careful to call him "Little Pharaoh" and not "Young Pharaoh". I think the guy's actually in his late forties, which accounts for the beard. If I'm wrong, then this is a seriously freaky picture.
Great jorb, Shane! You lines on this are wonderful, and such a great design. I think the the aqua green/blue color in that background gradient was a perfect choice... Lots of goodness here. If good artists were pharaohs, you'd be King Tut!
