Those Lazy Koalas

As I understand it, koalas sleep between 18 and 20 hours a day. I wish I was that lazy.

Koala doll

When I was a kid, my little sister had a koala doll. Somewhere out there I'm sure there's some koala with a little sister doll.

Okay, it seems we're all aware of Davy Crockett's penchant for bear/bar-acide. Great job, posters! This week's topic is... BUFFALO!

Have fun!

"Killed him a bear" makes a lot more sense.... sort of

Killed Him a B'ar...

Looks like Shane and I had the same sort of idea this week... How can you get past his toddler terror? Surely this is a more intriguing chapter in his life than his stint at Congress.

Little Davy Crockett

A three-year-old who killed bears and made hats out of raccoons? Little Davy... what a terror.

Snowmom & Snowbaby

I drew this, years ago, for my families newsletter (the one we neglect to send out at Christmas every year). This is my wife and my daughter in snow caricature.

Merry belated Christmas everyone!

Snow Couple

I was just going to post the snowman, but at the last minute I changed my mind and added the snowwoman. Why?

Because snowbody wants to be lonely.

New Topic: Turkey

Great stuff on the Mad Tea Party! This week's topic, in honor of Thanksgiving, is TURKEY. Draw what you will!

More tea...

Alright alright Nathan, it's here. :) I was being very lazy about posting this. Strangely Alice and the Mad Hatter were mine and my husband's halloween costumes this year.

Alcoholic Cartoon Mice Are Fun!

After two weeks I still didn't get much time to devote to the topic, so I decided to focus on my sketch of the Dormouse, the least posted attendant of the Mad Tea Party.

It's been a while, so here is a March Hare. He looks a little mad, but, we're all a little mad, aren't we?

It's no tea party

I remember watching "Alice in Wonderland" when I was 6. All I remember was that it was mostly about anthropomorphic characters acting weird and there was no plot. I also felt betrayed when the movie ended with her waking up. That's cheating!

In high school I read the book. After the baby Alice is tending morphs into a pig, I realized that this story was a waste of my time. Here's an attempt to turn the story into something that overflows with flowers and love and cuteness and fluffy bunnies. Aaaawwww....
