...Not Much Would Change.

Well, maybe some things would get better? I know one thing. Monkeys would still sit on rocks.

I don't know whether to thank you for inspiring me to improve myself, or be angry with you for making me realize that I just need to give up.

Either way it makes me happy to look at your stuff. Keep up the good work. Did I say "good"? I meant "excellent".

Really superb Seth. Love the look in his eyes simultaneously blank and as if asking "What?". I've seen people give me this look. It makes me think some of us really did evolve from apes. Your drawing skills floor me. Even the rocks are cool.

I just run out of things to say about your sketches, Seth. Amazing! Super! Yipee! It's all been said over and over... and now again: This is amazingly super, yipee! I love the pose... the crazy long, skinny arms, and the way he's looking at me. This is the face you get from every animal in the zoo. Man, they hate me. Gorgeous drawing, Seth... as always.

Good gesture in the hands. The are very monkey like. Posture attitude.Did you have some reference that you used to pull in all the little details that really make it a monkey?

I was inspired by a picture of a monkey I saw that had really hunched shoulders, but the rest came from a technique I call "Channeling the Monkey", a.k.a. "method drawing". You probably don't want to know much beyond that; or, it could possibly be from watching Tarzan too much. Thanks!

I love how he crammed himself in that rock, is it comfortable?

One of the great ones, Seth.

Wonderful drawing, sir! I love the values and the texture you've captured here, and I getting a creepy feeling just looking at my future dictator. Perhaps this is how Dr. Zaius started out.
