BLOW MAN

Meet Blow Man... he loves to go to superhero birthday parties and blow out the candles before the birthday boy/girl even gets a chance to. But what makes Blow Man special is his ability to transform into an owl by night and use his hobbit like feet to attach to branches. ( if none of this is coming together for anyone of you..don't worry...Im still trying to figure out what I drew too)

Mr. Invisiblegs

When your only super power is that your legs are invisible, I can't imagine why you would wear boots. Without them he could kick you in the crotch and you would have no idea who did it... unless you realized the guy you were standing next to appeared to be hovering.

That foot that's in the air is from his left leg... it's hard to pull off a convincing gesture when so much of the anatomy is INVISIBLE! Man, he's super!

Hero Profile: The Slug

When the razor sharp claw of injustice takes a swipe at all that is good and wholesome The Slug springs into action! Blazing a slimey trail, The Slug rockets to the rescue at an amazing land speed of two feet per hour. If you have a problem The Slug will be there! (Timeframe varies: Allow 6 to 8 weeks.)

Turning Tragedy into Triumph! It's SuperScooper

As a young boy, mild-mannered Miles Prestwich, reached for a penny a lady had dropped on the road. As a result of his kind act both hands were run over by a Mack truck leaving them permanently flattened. Everyone felt sorry for Miles. Then one day Miles discovered that his hands gave him an advantage over ordinary mortals and SUPERSCOOPER was born! Now he aims to single-handedly, er, double-handedly clean up the town. He's especially useful during equestrian parades.

And you'll be pleased to know that when he's not fighting filth and corruption he has a great job at the local diner cooking flapjacks. Mmmm, tasty.

The League of Useless Superheroes

This was a fun topic. I couldn't decide on one, so I just drew all of them. I think Caped Cod is my favorite because I'm all about the puns.

Man This sucks hard core. I'm gonna redo it.

Unnecessary Superheros

This week my wife wanted to come up with the idea. I said "no."

She then pitched "Unnecessary Superheros" and I told her that was a very cool idea. I also told her I was going to take credit for it. Uh... Oh, crap, too late... where's the "backspace"? I'm such an idiot... why can't I stop typing everything I think?! Stop it! What is wrong with you..? I'll tell you what's wrong with you...

Anyway, the topic is "Fish", NO! It's Unnecessary Superheros.

The Cheshire Cat is a Bully

Shane and Joe convinced me to post, even though I missed the deadline. Basically, I think the Cheshire Cat is a bully. Watch the Disney movie... You'll see what I mean.

Hope you enjoy.

The White Rabbit

This is how I imagine the White Rabbit's morning started. He was taking his time with breakfast and showering until he realized he'd slept in a few extra hours. I hate those kind of days. His power probably went out while he was asleep.

White Rabbit Club

I was debating whether to post this week since I didn't have time to finish this. I decided I would try putting up just a rough idea and hope everyone would be kind. The idea of this is that after a hard day jumping in and out of rabbit holes that the white rabbits (yes I'm imagining that they do shifts) meet in their gentlemen's club to relax and reminisce. Of course, their club is only about a block down from the Flamingo club.

Deleted Scene

Maybe you'll get to watch this part on the next DVD.

Obsess Much?

I think this guy would give the advice of taking your watch off 'til your tan line vanished... that is, if he could still talk.

Oh Mister Rabbit!

I thought I'd try a slightly different style this time; reminiscent of the old Alice illustrations by Arthur Rackham or John Tenniel (but not nearly as good)! It was suggested I post the White Rabbits that didn't make the cut, so there ya go.

New Topic: The White Rabbit

We never got an Old Man and the Sea from you, Seth! Does anyone know where Seth is? Maybe he's out of town. I hope he's not sick or dead. Feel free to post yours if you have one, Seth.

For this week's topic I was going to go with Alice in Wonderland, but there's just way too much from that that I wanted to draw. So I'm probably going to break that broad title and huge load of characters up into several of my upcoming topic choices... this time we'll focus on The White Rabbit.

The Old Man & the Sea

I figured I better put a larger version of the old man on here... because in my intended layout, he's kind of hard to see. There you have it.

Now, THAT'S a good idea, there.

This is inspired by the only thing I remember from the book.

Popsicles

Hi, I'm new here, sorry this is kinda last second, but I had fun thinking up the idea.

New Topic: The Old Man and the Sea

Another banner week for Toon Club! It's my turn again, so I guess I'll post now in case anyone wants to get a jump on the weekend! The topic is "The Old Man and the Sea". Have a nice weekend, gang!

The problem with frozen foods Jurassic style

Okay, Shane. Now I'm mad at you too. You posted your idea before me and Adrian and made us both look bad. Maybe Adrian and I will have to form our own pity party club.

And now, a public service announcement...

I have not doubt that, somewhere, in some progressive children's magazine, the follow public service announcement appears next to an ad for Pokemon cards (or whatever's passing for toys nowadays.)

While I'm sure that there are studies that show interesting data about global warming, I highly doubt any of the evidence is conclusive.

Also, Shane cheated. I drew my polar bear first and he changed the date on his post to make it look like I was copying him. Boo, Shane!

Preparing Dinner

Patience.

Ice Maker

We are moving this weekend, so this has been a busy week. I didn't want to miss out on this week's topic, but I had to limit the detail I had imagined. I'm still happy with it, though.

I won't explain, I think it's pretty clear... wait, that sounded bad.

What have I done?!

The Ice Man Cometh

New evidence supports the "Instant Ice Age" theory. First it was the baby mammoth with flowers in its mouth, now this...

Brrrrrrrr!

Sorry I missed out posting on Oz. I just had an extra busy week. For the new topic since Ice Age 2 had such a big opening let's do something related. Anything that has Ice in it then is the new topic for this week.
