The Last of the Secret Agents

Secret agents are always so cleverly disguised that they're the last ones you would expect to be secret agents. Okay, the tall thin guy is a bit more obvious, but at least he can hide behind flag poles and such.
Consider this my first baby steps back to Toon Club... Hooray!

Great job on last week's marine life entries. Huzzah!

This week's topic is "Secret Agent".

He's no Killer

I love how happy Killer Whales always seem to be. I reckon with a reputation like they've got, why not smile? Who's gonna tell you to stop?

Killer Whale

Not much to say here. It's just a killer whale... swimming or something.

New Topic: Killer Whales

Monday again... time for a new topic. And the new topic is: "Killer Whales." We could have called this topic "Orca," but that's too limiting for those of you who rather draw a murderous whale of the "gray" or "humpback" variety.

Well, here's my rock star...
I drew her, Tom Scholes painted her.
Rock on.

John Denver

ETERNIA

This isn't a band, but c'mon, who rocks more than He-Man? I thought it'd be cool having all the He-Man characters in high school.

New Topic: Rock Bands and Singers

There you go. Have fun!

(Update: The topic can mean existing musicians, past or present, or if you don't really want to go that way, you could draw a generic band instead. -Shane)

ANOTHER Blue Fairy

What?!
It's the blue fairy.

Of course the challenge is getting the appearance of blue into the sepia tones.

The Blue Fairy

Just kidding. This is actually "Lust" from "Full Metal Alchemist" who's only goal in life is to be human... like Pinocchio!

Cleo?

Figaro! Figaro!

With the most humble apologies to Shane, here's Figaro. He was always my favorite character in the movie. I think he got jipped being paired with Minnie Mouse in the short cartoons. I guess Jiminy got an exclusive deal on the instructional filmstrips.

Summer Vacation

Vacations are for Sketching Monsters

This is what I do when I'm on vacation. I draw funny lookin' Monsters.

The idea was inspired by Monster's Inc., though the creature is my own design. The theme at Illustration Friday is "Missing" and so I thought I'd cheat and kill two birds with one stone.

I suppose I could have drawn me with stuff missing from my luggage after a trip but I thought this would be more fun to draw.

...And it'd better have a McPlayplace.

Personally, I believe that vacations involve hot running water, souvenir shops, and absolutely no spiders.

Death By Vacation

I always love vacations, but I can't think of the last time I had a relaxing one.

When I think "Vacation"...

Well, fellow ToonClubbers this topic made me think of the beach.
So naturally, I drew this.

Judith (update)

My wife and I just went to Alaska on a vacation and this is basically the only sketch I did during the whole week. It was some lady that unknowingly followed us around the airport. She was a bit of a nut. She looks like a Judith.

Update: I just found a photo we secretly snaped of her. She the lady that left her bag unattended at the check-in, and when we asked if it was hers, she said "no". Then, after the security guys show up, she says it IS hers. And later, she is the one who walked right past the huge line that everybody has to wait in at the security check point, and goes right up to the front. What the..!? Then, from clear across the terminal, she walk to within a few feet of me, looks at my face, and then just walks away. Nutty I tell ya. How could I not draw her?

summer

Summer always makes me think of girls dressed like this.
