I dug up some old mermaids studies from the past. Nothing great. Someday I would like to do a real mermaid painting. I thought this topic might get me motivated but it isn't looking very good. Oh well, someday.
Hmmm, maybe the girl on the bench is underwater... or maybe she is a mermaid of the legged variety...or maybe she was just on the same piece of paper and I'm too lazy to crop.

Oldies are still goodies, I say! Beautiful work Guy! Much more 'mermaidish' than the Disney version. The Trident is a nice touch.
These are nice, Guy. I love the eyes on the one that's in color... kind of spooky, but really cool.
This is awesome. I love the tail on the first one, and those eyes are rad! I always like it when I see a more dangerous mermaid; the kind you should think twice about before agreeing to go on a little swim with.
