This is great, man! A classic villain, and like Elmer Fudd, when he finally succeeds, apparently he isn't as excited about it as he had expected to be. I wonder which Smurf that is, but I'm probably glad I don't know. Excellent work, sir.
Gargamel! What was his deal anyway? Did he want to EAT the smurfs? I can't remember why he hated them so. It probably had something to do with his hair loss, just sour grapes or something. Anyway - great villian, great work!
I loved that show... They never ran it enough... love it! I would've cried as a kid if this had happened. Why do I laugh now? Ahhh, animator's cynicism.
Nathan, I smurf this picture! It's got just the right blend of smurf and smurf, and I think you really outsmurfed your self on the smurf! I hope the smurf he smurfed was Brainy Smurf! That guy was a total smurf.
What a great Lenny-esque (sp?) Gargamel. I vote for the smurf to be Brainy Smurf, too. I can't help but wonder how he died. Did Gargamel hug him too tight, or did he get too close to the ceiling fan?
Nah, the smurf's not dead... right? They smurfs never died. He couldn't have... he's just resting. Right? It's just a cartoon anyway... ha ha... He's not dead, though, right?
This must be Drama Smurf, Smurfettes 2nd cousin. He always brought down the house with his death scenes. Never a dry eye in the place (for proof see Blogberts entry). Why did he hunt them anyway? Was it for their tiny white hats? Was that a hot commodity? Looks just like him Nathan, nicely done!
I am always amazed when a good drawing (this is a great drawing btw) is so enhanced with just the right text. Your 'all good fun...' perfectly captures the feel of the cartoon and the floppy smurf is brilliant.
I don't know what's best: the great drawing, the great ideia, the great text below it or this fantastic posts!!! I'm still laughing here! congrats everybody!!! b.

When you finally kill, er, turn into gold, or is it kill a Smurf, you realize, "I killed a baby!"
Poor guy, he'll never be the same.
Awesome drawing.

Keep up the good smurf!
