Makin' Fire

I combine the Illustration Friday topic and the caveman topic and got this. Not very finished. Work is keeping me busy.

Love the design and concept here, Guy. Hilarious!

Thanks for doing your part to save baby seals.

You say it's not very finished, but it's finished enough for me. I like it, Guy... especially the way he holds his legs. I guess you'd get used to sitting that way if you were always wearing what is essentially a leopard-print dress.

Great caveman Guy! He looks very Neaderthal. And yet he's one of his peoples great thinkers. Look at the concentration on his face. Or is it that his hand is about to go up in flames?

I love the "ooo oooo!" expression. This must be an advanced caveman, seeing that his fashion has expanded to cover both shoulders, as apposed to the popular single shoulder strap. Or maybe it's just Sunday.

As always love your sketches. I've seen boy scouts trying to rub sticks together just like this guy but with less success so I guess evolution hasn't taken us that far after all.

This is a fantastic drawing! I love the pose and expression - the personality of this engineer. My favorite part is the way his hair makes a seamless transition from his head to his elevated shoulders...could this be the first mullett ever?
