Great drawing and concept, Mark. If "Smurf" was considered swearing, this director would be my basketball coach from middle school. I could never quite figure out what he expected us to do... but I knew he was angry, and I think that was the point of everything he said anyway.

Absolutely smurfy! (In a good way.) Love the joke, it hits the mark, Mark! I've only watched about 3 episodes and got fairly tired of the word 'smurf' being used to describe everything from how they felt that day to what they were going to do with their leisure time. Good one!

Lovely! I always wondered if Papa Smurf would ever get to direct his smurf budget smurf of the Smurf of Smurf. Well, smurf for him!

you know, we called my kindergarten gym teacher "Pappy". He had a full white beard. That was in 1980. He was gone after that year...I'm now wondering if he didn't get hired on to do the smurfs tv series after his brief stay with us at Carroll Manor Elementary School.
