Brilliant Mel! You've captured Kong very well... I mean, you didn't CAPTURE him, but you've captured his image... Up there... On that big building... thing.
Actually Peter, he did capture Kong. How else do you think he got such a good likeness of the beast? Mel also built a replica of New York in miniature in his back yard to give him a 'playground' of sorts. Neighborhood kids can take turns flying the bi-planes around Kong, to make him feel at home.
Love the sketch, the composition, the drama, the action! Color is great Mel, but with your sketches it's icing on the cake. Great stuff!

No worries Mel, we all gets busy from time to time. Or, most likely, we all have some free time now and again. Or...
Good job!
I don't mind a solid sketch with no color. Your composition is great. It is a fine thing to have you back again.
Great sketch Mel! Nice to see you post again!
This is great, Mel. The looseness work really well. No one minds that there's no color when the sketch works this well.
Sketches are awesome, especially from you, Mel! Great Kong scene! I love the staging.
