I don't know what story you did... "The Old Man and the Sea" is about a guy who gets swept out to sea, beats the crap out of a marlin with his bare fists, uses those fists as fish bait, and then dies years later on a lonely island, survived only by his letter "C." I guess this is all right if you want to venture from the point of it all.

This is great, Jed... I like the size relationship and the angle and everything about it. Sweet! Nice work.

Wow, Jed! What great dramatic staging. I thought the old man had an uphill battle with the marlin I drew, but apparently that was just a baby marlin.

Another wonderful entry!

increddible colors Jed!!but that marlin is way too big, there's no way an old man could pull him in with his bare hands, the marlin wont even be able to fit in the boat!! hmmmmmfff...

....nice work

Perfectly colored skin, Jed--he looks leathery, even without any additional lines. Also I am loving the EPIC SUNSET OF DOOM. - Danielle

Looks great Jed. Very dramatic. It really illustrates the epic struggle that Hemingway wrote about in the book. Fantastic job.
