The Opposable Thumbless Puppet Show

How do monkeys expect to rule the world when they can't even perform a simple puppet show? Opposable thumbs... the key to a functioning society.

A difficult idea to pull off, but Mr. Supershane found a very clever way! I love the expressions and the colors and the designs and the everything.

In Monkeyworld, they haven't decided to start wearing clothes, but they did decide to start sitting on wooden stools. I'm not sure if that counts as "ruling", but, then again, wooden stools are quite important to OUR society. And that's one to grow on.

Thanks for the great drawing/laughs!

Ha! You already told me what you were going to do, and I still laughed when I saw it. Excellent expressions. Excellent everything. Even the puppet is awesome. How are monkeys ever going to rule the world when they can't even figure out that the puppet show's going to suck BEFORE they call the kids over to watch?

The puppet makes me laugh, and the puppeteer's nervous face is priceless!

Adrian had to explain to me that monkeys did not have opposable thumbs as my 5-year film studies degree didn't teach me that!

Sorry. Great drawing, Shane.

Prime example of what I'm talking about.

I love the monkeys! The kid monkeys are so ineffably appealing I want to hug 'em until their eyeballs pop out. The puppet is hilarious too.

Shane, you need to develop a PBS series. The perfect blend of educational and entertaining. You're characters always amaze me. Those monkey kids are adorable. You need to sculpt one and sell it to me.
