Four Birds Calling

Birds with phones. Kind've makes you wonder.

I thought I'd better get something up before the deadline, so here's my sketch. I'll see what I can do about splashing some color on this soon.

I love the toucan on the cell phone... he looks like he's discussing some pretty important business. Actually he looks like at least ten people I see each time I go to an airport... but he has beak. The operator on the left is classic two. All four birds... very nice... very calling. Get a colored version of this on here sometime, even if you don't get around to it for a little while. I love it, Ken.

I knew they were talking about phones when they said calling birds! I love the little round chick! Very cute! Good job.

Four great characters, Ken. And you should color these. I also love how this seems to be a history of telephones. If there were a fifth calling bird, I'm sure he'd be using a telegraph.

I did think of this myself, but I'm surely glad you did it Ken, I would've not done it as well. Very funny!

I see this as a business. You have the secretary on the left, the salesman 2nd, the boss, then the idiot customer that's so hard to work with. Isn't that how it always is?

Great stuff, Ken. I love the variety you've got going here. The toucan is my favorite; he's definitely the boss.

Thanks guys! I definately intend to color these guys, but it might take me till Christmas to get it done. I'm on a deadline-- which might kill me. So if I survive I'll be sure to get some color on it.
