Who Says Things Will Keep Getting Better?

It's been said that "history repeats itself." A thousand years from now, our descendants may have fallen back on egyptian paint or cave drawings.

Hey did you actually use a caligraphy pen? This looks really cool! Nice job and great idea. I love the characters!

Good point. As long as the girls are that good looking I don't think anybody will mind. Well done.

Don't men and women think differently enough, and then we have to translate cave images into "get pizza or skip dinner"? Nice illustration, and I love your line quality.

Peter, I don't think it's gonna take 1000 years. Now where did I put that chisel?

A thousand years? I'd be fine for making that change now... and then no more need for "spell check." Nice drawing, Peter.

Bryan, I've been using the same pens for every toon club entry I've done except for the mermaid and the white rabbit entries.

I just use Micron 05 .45mm felt tip pens, I like the way they draw (Buy those at a craft store for about $2.50-3.50 each). I usually rough stuff out with lots of messy pencil lines and circles and ink right on top of it, erasing the pencil with a gum eraser afterwards, but for this drawing I skipped the pencil roughing stage and went straight to ink. Here, I also made a second pass with the ink to get the lines thicker in places and make them flow.

The background texture and the pyramid were made with simple photoshop brushes. I color most stuff I do in Photoshop Elements that came free with a 4x5" Graphire 3 tablet I got for Christmas 2 years ago (That costs about 90 dollars).
