My first few sketches were leaning toward the Frank Thomas design of Captain Hook. As I tried to get away from that, I realized I was just drawing Freddie Mercury of Queen. Rather than choose one direction or the other, I simply combined the two. My apologies to both Captain Hook and Freddie Mercury for seeing each of them as the other.

I have two things to say about this drawing.
1. Nicely done! Great work!
2. I finally have something to replace Baby Hook Hands in my nightmares.
At least it wasn't Neal Diamond. My childhood nightmares are safe. This is great Shane.
