Okay, I'm hoping at least one person remembers the old CBS Dungeons and Dragons cartoon from the '80s. Sheila was the fiesty redhead who played the role of the "thief". The title came with a power... She had a purple cloak that could make her invisible so she could swipe stuff from the bad guys.
I was almost done sketching out my original idea for this week's post when I remembered Sheila, and I knew this was my one chance to have a reason to draw her. She's no Slue-Foot Sue, but I think she's kinda cute.

Dungeons and Dragons cartoon... that's so you. What exactly brought about that moment when you "remembered Sheila?" Just daydreaming at your desk - there she is? I think you probably think of her a lot... and this is one of your hundreds of drawings of her. And since that's certainly the case, I must say, you chose a good one. I like it. Nice stuff, Adrian. Dungeons and Dragons cartoon... excellent.
I remember being so excited to watch this show when I heard it was going to be on, but for the life of me, I can't remember a thing about it! Now I see that it is an unfortunate thing to forget. Wooweewoo!
I love her freckles, and the way the light hits her hair and...
Ok, it's creepy, but you did good, son.
I was searching through 80's cartoons and this one came up as one that I remember. I considered it for a brief moment, but decided on another direction. This looks really great. Good job.
Thank you for the feedback, y'all.
Shane - Yes, I watched a Dungeons and Dragons cartoon. I set myself up for that one.
Jed and Seth - Thanks for the kind comments and Sound Effects.
Peter - I've heard great things about John Ahern. Swanimator got his start with him, you know.
Guy - I'm really glad someone else at least remembers that show.
Taylor - Maybe I'll do a better coloring tutorial post on my personal blog next week.
Thanks everyone!
Adrian, how could I have neglected to think of Sheila. I watched this show religiously as a kid. This is a great post, and good choice for a cutie.
Cool! Some red hair chic!
Lovely work, adrian!!! Great character!
Wow, that is my fiance's little boys favorite show. I think he might have a thing for her too.
she was my fave! I would wear a cape around the house and when my hood was up, my brother KNEW not to look at me b/c I was invisible! lol
