Never got to paint this one...but I cleaned it up enough to feel good about posting it.

Hey, nice job Nathan, I don't mind that it's not colored. It has a real design/graphic quality that is nice. The flat colors and strong black outline are really cool and definitely appeal to the retro in me. The "less is more" solution can be tricky, but I really think you've pulled it off nicely. I also think it's a good solid drawing and I really like having the figure be in black. Good job!

Yes. I agree. You've managed to pull off something quite nice here without coloring. It's like it's a musical montage in the middle of a movie or something. I like it.

This is great, Nate. You did something that I have a lot of respect for... You found a good balance between black and white on a line drawing. So many don't get how to pull that off, but you came through in spades. I have to agree... I don't even miss color on this one.

Very nice. I like the way you drew the leg that's on the ground... very stylized. I'm not sure if you noticed, but your gladiator is kind of invisible. Nice graphic approach, man. I like it.

These are sublime lines! Good use of solid black shapes and varying thicknesses. Nice Graphicky backdrop... Maybe would be easier to see the lines, though, if the backdrop were lightened up a bit.

Really cool Nathan. You know... this would make a wonderful t-shirt design.

Cool imagery. It would give him quite an advantage to become invisible in battle. Great work!
