I've always wanted to do that to a giant Killer Hot Dog Adrian. Only I'm not Italian and never got the opportunity-- and frankly I'm not sure that those two ideas are related in any way. Perhaps Italians have more opportunities to beat up killer food than non-Italians, I wouldn't know. At any rate, awesome illustration Adrain. Love the action, the drama, the food.
Makes you wonder what the heck game developers were THINKING. Is it like the predecessor to Cooking Mama? I remember renting this and Zelda 2 on a Friday night when I was a kid. I played it a couple minutes before realizing how repetitive it was, then played Zelda the rest of the night.
ha! this is great. I tried flipping an assembled hamburger up on a spatula like that once...sadly I didn't have an attacking sausage to blame for the end result.
I love the kung-fu-style punch to the hot dog's teeth. Hot dogs have teeth? I guess as long as they have gloves and shoes, they might as well. This is great, Adrian. A nice interpretation of a classic, burger-building game.
What a terrific idea! Burger Time! Who woulda thought? hats off to you! tee hee... Seriously, this is really good, it really is a great idea and execution and the witty writing is also funny. Good job! I feel this guy's sentiments, I love burgers and hate hot dogs. Awesome!
Alright, I'll come clean... I was originally doing something different, but Bryan mentioned adding Burgertime to my drawing, and eventually it just took over the whole thing. HATS OFF TO BRYAN!
No, Adrian's the real hero, I just mentioned the game, he came up with the best solution/execution, I never would've come up with something so witty. All I can think of is my old surf t-shirts! Well played Adrian, and thanks for the nod anyway..... I JUST LOVE TOON CLUB SOO MUCH!!! (wiping tears)

Like the drawing (those bandy legs are great) but no idea what the game was!

I think teeth is a main ingredient in hot dogs, no?
A friend of mine just restored a stand-up arcade of Burger Time. The game-play holds up: it's the fun kind of repetitive.
Neat cartoon! His face shows the asperity one expects from a protector of cheeseburgers.

Excellent game, and excellent depiction. I love the facial expression on the chef (I use the term chef loosely... not the Kelly kind). Well done.
