Joust was always best played 2-Players with a friend. The biggest trouble was always that jerk of a pterodactyl... And the lava... And the other jousters... Oh, who cares, the game went on forever until you died, so it was a lost cause anyways.

I have to admit it Peter, I like your composition a lot more than my own. Back to the drawing board. WOW! Really terrific work! Somehow I'd forgotten about that troublesome Pterodactyl. What a pain in the nack he was.
I agree two player was best. The only trouble was that I'd get into a 'mood' and try to bump my friends off their mount at some point in the game, and you know about paybacks.
I must not have ever done too well in Joust, because I don't remember the pterodactyl. I like the colors... something the actual game seemed to lack. Nice one, Peter.
Very nice drawing and composition! These colors and background create a lot of energy and emotion. Really great job!
Nice action shot, Peter. You know what I would suggest, though? If you brightened the lava and cast the characters darker on top of it, they might pop out a little better and push the drama. Give it a try.. See what ya think.
Great work this week.
I think the two Joust posts compliment each other well. One the calm, and one the storm. Very cool. Much cooler than I remember the game being. You must have used more pixels.
