Carpenter-Ape

Part Carpenter-Ant, part Mountain Gorilla, the Carpenter-Ape, with arms capable of lifting 35 tons of weight over it's head, and mandibles capable of crushing soft metal to pulp, he is the new reigning king of the jungle.

This is cool, Ken. Sure it's unsettling, but that seems to be the point this week. What size is this thing? I don't know whether to squash it with my shoe or run over it with a tank, but I'm going to be doing one or the other as soon as I find out.

Nice drawing - nice color. Good stuff, Ken.

I can see it: CONGO Mutant Spawn! Ha!
There was intended a certain cuddlyness to his character since I'm so fond of Gorillas, but I couldn't bring myself to put a pink ribbon in his hair. The stuff of nightmares!
I fear a tank would only upset him Shane. Better just to let him live out his days in isolation and hope he never finds a mate.

Thanks for your comments guys!

So, apparantly, primates are able to mate with just about anything. Worms, giraffes, rhinos, ants...

Nice one! Great work, and, like Shane, I am curious about the scale.

Yeah, kinda gross huh?

According to my sources, the Carpenter-Ape is about 5 feet to the top of his head while resting on his knuckles. Big enough to intimidate the smart-alec right out of me.
