Topic #115: Cabin Fever
I decided to post my sketch raw. Hope you enjoy.
I've never had a nightmare so funny.Ways away from your usual style Adrian, and very cool.
What a pretty smile! Joe stole my comment about the style of this one. I like the extreme size of his head and face so the focus goes there... on all the wrinkles and general elderly grossness. Very nice sketch, sir.
Wow. Look at the wart on his arm! And he holds that cane so proper. The proportions are out of the elderly world. Good crotchety old guy!
It's always fun to try something new. Now I did it and I can go back to being Adrian again.
He totally looks like he's ploughing through a bad case of kidney stonesI love the expression.
So is this guy the long lost relative of Black Beard the Pirate? He looks as though he's got "Arrrr! Ye Land Lubbers! Walk the plank! Arrrrr!" constantly on his mind. Great! Great Sketch Adrian! That reminds me, I've to get crackin' on my entry. The week is almost up!
Wow you captured my childhood neighbor Mr. Sexton perfectly. He called the cops on us all the time. If our cat crossed into his backyard he'd call the cops. If my brother practiced his saxaphone, he'd call the cops. If the Walnuts from our tree fell on his side of the fence he'd call the cops. One day my wife saw him with a can of gasoline dousing the outside of his house. He was going to torch it with his invalid wife inside. My mom called the cops, and we never had any more problems for as long as we lived there.
I had crotchety old neighbors, but none compare to Mr. Sexton. Adrian, you win the prize this week for stepping out of bounds from your usual style and hitting it out of the park. Good job!
This is a sketch you can feel...makes me want to go stretch out on a heating pad...
Great character! Very animatable. I love his expression. Ouch! I feel like this more and more often myself.
Haha....hilarious! great one, adrian!
too cute and funny! :) love iterikahttp://www.five3.com
This is awesome! Great style and character...LOVE IT! Infact, reminds me of someone I knew in the 80's when I was a kid, was told never to go down the end of our garden to talk to him!
LOL! He made me laugh! What a wonderful character, you did a great job with all the detail.
Hey, he's still got his teeth. He should be happy. Nice drawing.
